(5) A fantastic result
6.If you would give a name to your class, what name would you tag class 17?
(6) The enlighten ones
7.What does it takes to be the best graduating student?
(7) It can only be realised if one is an active participant in the field..According to a philosophical adage, theory without practice is superflous, while practice without theory is blind. Hence for one to come out sucessfully, there must be a correlation of various facets. To this end, any aspiring successful student must get his/her brain and body ready to learn, must learn in a way that works for you. Everyone learns best in different ways; this is called 'a learning style' find a way that works for you and try to learn that way as much as you can.
Also, paying attention is one of the ways through which one can come out with a meaningful degree. The best thing that you can do to become the best or among the best in any class is to pay attention when your lecturer is teaching. If you get distracted you might miss important information and you will have a harder time understanding what to do.
Another factor that aids in the progression of any student is note taking. Taking notes (and taking notes well)can be tricky in the university, but it will make it much easier for you to learn and study.
Do your assignment on time (well).
Look for extra ways to learn. Learning stuff that is not included in your classes can help you understand the topic better and it can also really impress your lecturer.
It is worthy of note that one of the most effective ways to get better scores on tests and exams is to start studying and preparing for the test as early as possible. Definitely dont leave it until the night before.
Come to class early and pay attention.
Finish your papers several days early so you will have time to revise them.
8. What were the challenges you had as a philosophy student?
(8) Every facet of life is full of challenges. What ever challenge i have been through during my stay in the department is ipso facto, a limiting condition of my own existence. Every step that was being taken was also attached by some impediments. Because there is no short cut to success. However, the ability to overcome these challenges and turn them into advantages defines our being as authentic individuals.
9.What advice would you give the department?
(9) My piece of advice to the department is that the department should take an outward and future oriented view focusing on where the department and its impact on the society ought to be and how to get there. Hence It will be of utmost importance if the department works closely with the Alumni. Because the Alumni are a valuable asset to the department, and they need to be kept abreast of what is happening in the department through visits, newsletters, and annual reports. When Alumni feel positively about the department, the want to give back, and then good things happen. To this end, if the lecturers, students, and the.Alumni could share the same platform in emancipation and the togetherness of men in d department in particular and the University at large, then this can provide new and different perspectives on research and teaching methods. Collectively, this can also help in building a strong, healthy department that is vibrant and thriving.
