We present to you the student personality from the department of philosophy OKEIN OLUMIDE OLUWASEYI popularly known as BOYMIDE

Can we meet you?
Yes of course, my name is Okein Olumide Oluwaseyi. A 200level student of University of Lagos, Philosophy. Boymide is the stage name though.

You just dropped your most anticipated track jenifa, how has the acceptance been?

Well,it has really exceeded my knowledge. I never believed the love I was shown. It was massive honestly.

How have you been accepted in unilag?

Seriously, I must confess,my acceptance in UNILAG has been more than my thought. The reason why I said this,is because,there are many artistes in Unilag currently,who has been in the game for so long, but the amazing fact is that, I got rhymed with them. I mean I'm equally classified among the top artistes in Unilag presently, although I'm trying to be better.

What genre of music do you do?

I do Afro pop.

You are getting a lot of recognition and also one of the sought out artistes at the moment, how has the growth been?
Smiles!
I would say it is God. Because there are many better artistes in Unilag,but sometimes I just ask "Boymide,when did you even come into the game" then I always get the reply "It is God."

Who are your mentors and who would you love to work with?

Oh! Well, I don't really do mentors. But I like the musical style of Wizkid, Reekado banks and Kiss Daniel. And I can't wait to work with Lil Kesh.

How many tracks do you have, and are we expecting anything from you soon?

I have just two tracks for now.
Orekelewa and JENIFA.
And I'm planning to work with a female artiste in my next official work,it is still hidden though. Full details about that would drop soon.

What's the future for you?

Obviously, God has the best answer to this question. But I always want the future brighter than I ever think.

Are you in any management company?

No, I'm unsigned for now. Although a lot of record labels have come in contact with me, but they don't have good stuffs to offer so I've turned them down.

Do you have anything to say to those supporting you and fans?

Omo! Awon lo sure ju o! Shout out to my Fans! Mad love for them. They deserve one Pepsi, just like they deserve more Blessings. Smiles! But honestly,they mean a lot to me. And I love them till a dog flies.

Any last words?

Well, I know I've not got to the right place in this game because I know my worth and this alone makes me feel I deserve going higher than this. Don't be surprised when and where you see me in the next few years. Finally, one sure thing is, no matter what you do in this life,you will surely have at least a critic,don't be depressed with that. "If you know your worth, no man can make you feel worthless."
